In a crowded marketplace, it’s easy to become lost in a sea of options.

And if you’re looking for a place to sample something new, then you’ll want to try out a new spot.

In a recent survey, we found that nearly half of diners say they’ve visited a restaurant but never tried a new one.

Here are some of the most popular places to try something new in New York City.

• NEW YORK CITY: Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island The city’s newest neighborhood opened in 2018, and it’s one of the busiest places to eat.

The borough has been home to restaurants for over a century, including the original Brooklyn Bistro and the now-defunct Olive Garden, but the restaurants that have made New York a hotspot for the past decade have all moved into their own buildings.

• BOSTON: New England’s most popular dining destination.

• D.C.: This is the second-largest city in the U.S. by population, but D.S., also known as District of Columbia, is home to only eight restaurants, according to the National Restaurant Association.

• ELIZABETH: The birthplace of the Big Apple’s “Bubblegum Kitchen” is a city that is often considered a foodie’s paradise.

In 2017, Eater named it the No. 1 spot in America to visit after visiting with Chef Andrew Cohen.

• LOS ANGELES: L.A.’s food scene is legendary.

But it’s also one of America’s fastest-growing, according the Restaurant Association, which ranks L.C. as the nation’s No. 3 restaurant city.

• PITTSBURGH: Pittsburgh is home-cooked dining, but it’s not the only place that is growing.

In 2019, the city was named the No, 1 place to visit in America after dining at four restaurants.

• CHICAGO: Chicago has a long and storied history of eating out, but this year, the eatery that opened in 2012 was one of a handful of new eateries to make the city’s list.

• BROOKLYN: The city is home for a handful the best restaurants in the country, but its reputation is already starting to change as more and more restaurants open and cater to a growing customer base.

• NASHVILLE: Nashville is home, but if you want to get your fix of fresh produce and a little bit of inspiration, you should head to the Tennessee Valley Garden.

The outdoor garden features a variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown and harvested by local residents and a large selection of artisanal cheese.

• RICHMOND: Richmond is home of the Richmond Art Museum, a nonprofit arts and cultural hub.

The museum also hosts free concerts and events throughout the year.

• SAN DIEGO: The most famous restaurant in San Diego, this city is known for its food and dining.

But its also home to one of San Diego’s biggest cultural institutions, the San Diego Museum of Art.

• PHILADELPHIA: Philadelphia is home with the best music scene in America, but not all the artists here are from Philadelphia.

That’s where the Museum of the Moving Image, which opened in 2014, is headquartered.

• HOUSTON: The American Southwest’s food scene has evolved over the past few years, with restaurants such as Chipotle, Tex-Mex, and Sweetgreen emerging.

The new owners of the historic Houston landmark have already started to bring in local talent, including chef/owner Jose Andrés.

• TAMPA BAY: TAMPA, Florida is home.

But if you can’t make it to Florida to try a restaurant, then head to Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Times named it one of “America’s Top 10 Cities to Visit in 2020” after dining there in 2019.

• SACRAMENTO, Calif.: The birthplace and home of Silicon Valley, San Francisco is known as the birthplace of Google.

The company is based in San Jose, and you can see the company’s headquarters from a boat that’s located on the bay.

• ORLANDO, Fla.: Orlando is home and the birthplace to the Walt Disney World Resort.

The resort is a destination for families and friends, but you can also enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom and other attractions.

• INDIANAPOLIS: This is where we have the biggest restaurant scene in the world, thanks to local eateries such as Mango.

Mango, which has been in operation since 2011, has been named one of The New York Times Best New Restaurants in 2020.
